The Ports track our progress annually, comparing decarbonization actions each year with each port’s implementation plan. The implementation plans are revised every five years to ensure we are making progress toward our Northwest Ports Clean Air Strategy commitment of zero maritime emissions by 2050 or sooner. See below for progress on the current implementation plans as well as the past 2021-2025 implementation plan.
2026-2030 Implementation Plans
2026-2030 Implementation plans have bee adopted by The Northwest Seaport Alliance and the Port of Tacoma. The Port of Seattle is reviewing their Maritime Climate and Air Action Plan progress and priorities through 2030. 2026-2030 implementation actions will be added this year.
